Mans Wrange

As an artists, Måns Wrange (1961, Sweden) works on long-term projects, exploring strategies, such as lobbying and polls, that influence the process of opinion forming. He also does research on techniques that alter human behaviour through social organizations, objects and architecture. This interactive installation, The unfinished book, offers an answer to an infinite number of questions with infinite offerings of philosophy. A delicate mechanism reacts to sound waves that enter the horn, which sets the book spinning and randomly open on a famous philosopher’s text. After all, doesn’t  every philosophical document end by posing a new question?
