In his extensive oeuvre, Pere Llobera (1970, Spain) depicts the world as it is experienced just before falling asleep; memory intertwines with fantasy. What is fact and what is fiction within the created reality of Llobera's paintings no longer seems to matter. Reality and dreams merge, and nothing is what it seems anymore.
