Job Koelewijn
To me, making an art work means to freely pose a question to reality, time and time again.

Job Koelewijn’s (1962, the Netherlands) varied body of work oftentimes has a certain fragility to it. As well as texts, his work includes senses and materials one would sooner associate with the ephemeral than with permanence: scent, touch, sound, foodstuffs. They are extended within our experience, encompassing a space far larger than previously thought possible. These works are conceptual intonations wherein contradictions manifest before dissipating.
