Sam Werkhoven

Sam Werkhoven’s work centers around his fascination with light. Responding and reconnecting with works from art history, he creates a dialogue between the past and the present. One of the stark examples is his sky series, in which he connects with the Dutch painters of the 17th century on a topic of Dutch light.
