Paul van Dijk

Paul van Dijk (1947, the Netherlands) has developed into a multi-faceted artist. Through the years he has produced etches, collages, photographs, silkscreen prints and sculptures, always opting for a restrained and prudent use of form and color. It imbues his work with a sense of serenity while displaying a subtle approach filled with poetry. In his oeuvre, Van Dijk never strays far from reality, yet by removing or adding elements, his subjects are always placed at an alienating angle.
