Collecting Policy

The AkzoNobel Art Collection contains contemporary artworks from different disciplines by emerged artists and young talent. The collection has been built up based on themes such as ‘Color and Research’, ‘Individual and Society’ and ‘Space’.

Although these themes are not absolutes - each work is unique and autonomous -  the AkzoNobel Art Foundation makes use of these themes to order its collection. This results in a collection in which the art works connect with each other and with their surroundings.
