Tjalling Quinten Mulder

Tjalling Quinten Mulder’s (1986, the Netherlands) object of inquiry is decay—fruits and vegetables, subject to putrefaction, made into sculptures, or the memories of childhood that unravel and disintegrate. And yet, nothing bleak is to be found in his work. Rather, it is a document of change, written in ceramics, three-dimensional collages, and organic matter which so briefly persists.
