Tabor Robak

Tabor Robak (1986, United States) generates his own computer images. By working in programs such as Unity, After Effects, Photoshop and Cinema 4D, he creates a digital world that he calls a 'Photoshop tutorial aesthetic' or a 'desktop screen saver aesthetic'. His work is inspired by video games and exploring the fine line between reality and the digital world.

Robak uses digitally generated images with a dazzling palette. The shapes and lines in his work evolve in their own rhythm, ensuring that you never look at the same piece twice. Robak’s digital ‘paintings’ are never finished and are based on the principle that technology is gradually learning how to paint, thus taking over the creative process.
