Alejandro Galvan

Visual artist Alejandro Galván (1990, Mexico) grew up in Nezahualcóyotl, the most densely populated area of Mexico City. He has a strong interest for the country's complex political history. In huge, narrative paintings, he depicts combinations of Mexico's landscape, symbolic culture, and controversial history. He portrays the figurative scenes on the canvas in watercolor, ink, charcoal and wax paint.
