Kyra Sacks
By mixing ethnographic research with my art practice and vice versa, a web of meanings, questions and interactions emerges, a deep map of the world that, hopefully, draws us closer.

In her work, Kyra Sacks (Netherlands, 1989) strives to combine her background in the arts with her knowledge of anthropology. In her drawings and photography, Sacks questions the contradictions in our society. How can infinite possibilities and injustice co-exist? And how are these contrasts experienced? Sacks captures this in images that make the incoherence tangible.
