Pablo Ziccarello

In Pablo Ziccarello’s (1972, Argentina) MICROCENTRO we see the light reflections, neon lines and advertising slogans of urban nightlife. The negatives of the photos that Ziccarello takes during his evening walks in Buenos Aires are repeatedly highlighted and superimposed, creating an endless visual space. Recognizable icons have been omitted, which makes the merged image function as the subjective experience of every metropolis.
