Kevin Bauer

Kevin Bauer (1987, the Netherlands) deals with the importance of image and form in his work. Material and the construction are the ingredients he uses to construct the image he has in mind. Bauer works, for example, with raw materials and found objects which he paints and adjusts. He is guided by the material and what happens during the making process. Bauer doesn’t strive for perfection, but for concentration in his work. He is intrigued by the observation that all matter is given a value.
