Gábor Ösz
I am not designing, not composing, not doing anything extra to make the image closer to the idea, but the circumstances are telling me what to do.

At the basis of Gábor Ösz’ (1963, Hungary) work lies a fascination for the observation of reality and the relation between people and their surroundings. By using analogue photographic processes, such as the camera obscura, Ösz is able to create photographs exhibiting both modesty and keen aesthetics. A constant factor in his work is the way he reflects on the moment at which the image comes into existence and is perceived as such.
