Jacques Grégoire

Every few years Jacques Grégoire (1961, the Netherlands) will travel to Australia to find inspiration for his paintings. Grégoire paints portraits, nudes, birds and (city) landscapes. Australia is his great passion as this continent symbolizes unspoiled nature, beauty and freedom. His fascination with birds has a similar origin, as they are free to go wherever they want—freedom we all wish for, but are held back from by expectations.
