Harry Markusse (1990, The Netherlands) is inspired by minimalism: the challenge is to create an image using the least amount of actions. What appeals to Markusse most is color, light, rhythm, repetition and dynamics. The search for harmony within these aspects makes Markusse encounter new concepts while making it possible to let go of former ideas. These developments as a young artist go hand in hand with a love for experimenting with new techniques and materials.
