Dion Rosina's (1991, Netherlands) work can be characterized as a combination of abstract and figurative, with a touch of mystery. He uses sampling, a technique in which he reuses existing imagery in search of special stories, mysteries, and important people and moments in history. He collects a diversity of images that he digitally manipulates and assembles into collages, which serve as the basis for his paintings.
