Andy Holden
There's the strange idea that complex ideas have to be inaccessible. It shouldn't be that for something to be clever it also has to be visibly austere.

Andy Holden (1982, UK) is a multi-talented artist. His work incorporates monumental outdoor structures, plaster and bronze sculpture, film, painting, recorded music and musical performances. Often showing these diverse media together, his work builds a fragmented yet richly textured collision of ideas, references and forms. They are often profound in nature yet executed with a playful touch, rendering the work highly inviting to any passerby.
