In the work of Joran van Soest (1994, Amsterdam) his relationship with the environment is central. He is interested in the stories and experiences of other people and how they relate to his own. With his work he tries to make room for a conversation between people, something he calls the 'intersubjective space'. He incorporates these into collages and sculptures, constructed from various art techniques.
