Dodi Espinosa (1985, Mexico) mainly uses clay in his work, which he paints, or materials such as bronze, wood, textile and paper-mache. In the unconventional visual language of his artworks, he shows influences of surrealism and shamanism, which are sometimes accompanied by violence. Espinosa believes in the power of change through art and looks at historical and current issues from this perspective.
