Dennis Hollingsworth (1956, Spain) explores the three-dimensional possibilities of paint. Though his work is abstract, the layered multitude of shapes imbues it with a sense of the figurative. Both experimental and playful, Hollingsworth’s oeuvre isn’t created with paintbrushes, but instead with a variety of tools, used to build and shape sculptures of paint.
