Get Lost Art Route

Get Lost aims to bridge the gap between businesses and the art world starting from the premise that each can inspire the other. They develop art routes with temporary artworks in public space by young, promising artists who are commissioned by companies/organizations.

The AkzoNobel Art Foundation participated at Get Lost in 2018 and chose for the artist Richard John Jones. Jones made an installation titled 'Keeping Watch Above The Flowers’ which was designed specially for the public garden behind the AkzoNobel building. It was a sculpture that looked like a stage and it invited people to use it like a normal bandstand that one would find in any city park. It was open to impromptu performances, it was a place to sit and have lunch or to meet people and in the summer of 2018 dance group Jacuzzi gave 6 dance workshops on the artwork of John Jones.
