Rinke Nijburg

Rinke Nijburg (1964, the Netherlands) wants to paint everything, the entire world. The past, the present, religion, rituals and existential questions all feature in his work. Because these subjects aren’t always easily visualized, Nijburg often uses symbols from various religions, myths and stories. With a flowing touch he paints scenes of great wonder.
